Individual Report: Social Media Strategy
Imagine that you are the social media manager of a small to medium organisation (up to 250 employees). Your task is to come up with an actionable social media strategy for a new product or service to be launched next month. You are free to either choose an existing organization or to invent a new one based on a business idea you might be interested in realizing!
Please be specific with your justifications for the different social media platforms chosen and how these may help your small to medium organization reach its marketing goals. Think about the audience and reach of different platforms. Bear in mind that an organization of this size is likely to have a very low marketing budget.
You will have to draw on and thoroughly reference academic theory and industry data to underpin your strategy. You are encouraged to make use of visuals, tables and graphs to make your strategy more life-like.
