Part II (45 marks)

Conduct a literature search and draft a brief literature review outline for the research project you proposed in Part I. In the course of your literature search, you should be able to shortlist at least TWELVE (12) publications that are most relevant.

(a) Formulate an initial literature search. Your search terms chosen should align with your research questions. Describe and explain your decision-making process in terms of the search terms chosen, search engines used, search strategies adopted, and potential literature sources found.

(b) You are to show TWELVE (12) records of references selected from your literature search diary using the literature search record template (MacNaughton & Hughes, 2009) shown below. Then you need to examine and discuss how you would use your initial search results to refine your project’s research questions.

(c) Based on TWELVE (12) articles reviewed, draft an outline for the brief literature review. The outline should include headings and short descriptions of what to include under each heading. Finally, explain why you have created the outline in this way.
