|OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this assignment is to assess the understanding of the students on the application of the law of sale of goods to the quality of goods. The Sale of Goods Act 1957 requires that goods sold must be of quality. However, quality is not easy to assess, as people have different interpretations whether a product is of good quality or not. Students are required to look into the issues, evaluate them and recommend better solutions to the parties.|
1. Students have to identify the main issues regarding assessment of quality, identify relevant principles from the Sale of Goods Act 1957 and apply the relevant principles to the issue, supported by examples and cases.
2. Students are expected to provide their recommendations and conclusion based on the discussion.
