Criteria | Develop a high-level strategy implementation plan for the strategic initiative you proposed in Assignment 2. Use the McKinsey 7S framework to guide your analysis about potential changes in organisation support for effective implementation. Depict the timing and order of the strategic actions in a basic high-level strategic planning GANTT Chart. Explain and justify the priority and timing of the key actions depicted in the GANTT chart.
The introduction to this section must apply your theoretical knowledge with scholarly in-text citations to show your understanding of what is a Gantt chart and how it helps implementation of business strategies. You then need to discuss what you have included in your Gantt chart action plan. Justify priority and timing of the key actions.
Development | The first part of the development of the Gantt chart is to design a table format for a 12–18-month period. See some examples below.
- Then consider what ‘s’ elements needs to be changed from your analysis of the McKinsey 7s framework.
- After analysing which of the 7s elements need changes summarise these in a Gantt Chart – a real-time visual Action Plan -see a basic example below).
- First consider what are the priority actions, the order in which they should be implemented, the resources required and timing of the change. Some of the timing will overlap.
- Develop key headings and maximum 2 sub-headings for each action and list in a Gantt chart.
