ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

Your group is to carry out an assessment of an online transaction (e.g. ordering consumer products or items, making applications, banking transactions, payment of bills, booking of tickets, making reservations etc.) The assessment should cover the design of the application or website and your entire task flow to meet your intended objective of using the application or website for your selected transaction.

The task should be carried out and completed on a smartphone.

While your evaluation should largely be based on usability and human-computer interaction, you can also discuss your points based on cognitive ergonomics and display design principles. You are to identify and describe good design features and shortcomings, and evaluate the usability or user-friendliness of the application or website. You are to also propose human factors design changes or improvements that you would make. Explain your rationale clearly.

You are to use screenshots or illustrations of the application or website pages or screens to illustrate your points.
