Under the direction of the Board of Directors to build resilience preparedness, the Enterprise’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) appointed the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to co-lead and organize the entire enterprise’s state of resilience preparedness. As a key member of the enterprise’s safety and health functions at the corporate level, you are the appointed Head of the Secretariat Team to advise and support the Enterprise Resilience Preparedness Steering Committee. Demonstrate your understanding of resilience preparedness by:
(a) Select a corporation or enterprise (not just one site) of your choice from among trade-types such as a chain of hotels/resorts, a corporation in oil and gas, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing, a chain of retail/shopping malls, or a cluster of healthcare-institutions/hospitals;
(b) Describe the entire corporation/enterprise’s organizational structure and operating architecture, workflows and shop-floor activities, and discuss how the Enterprise Resilience Preparedness Steering Committee and the corresponding business divisions, business units, and site-premise workgroups should be organized, including associated tenants and their respective roles and supports required;

(c) Describe and discuss how the corporation/enterprise approach the threat identification and risk assessment (TIRA) at a strategic level and the corresponding hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA) at the tactical and operational levels throughout the entire corporation/enterprise architecture, providing informed-decisions and planning-feeds to the following organizational resilience dimensions:
(1) Enterprise Risk and Resource Management (ERRM);
(2) Business Continuity and Recovery Management (BCRM); and
(3) Corporate Crisis and Emergency Management (CCEM).
(d) Describe and discuss how the corporate standards and series of emergency plans (crisis management plans, business continuity management plans, incident management plans, emergency response plans, covering various scenarios) are being developed and formulated throughout the entire corporation/enterprise at:
(1) Corporate Level;
(2) Business Division or Regional Levels;
(3) Business Unit Levels; and
(4) The site and Shop-floor Levels.
These should include all setups at each level, such as the corporation/ enterprise’s Incident Crisis Team (ICT), Crisis Function Teams (CFTs), Incident Management Team (IMT), Incident Action Teams (IATs), Incident Recovery Team (IRT), and Recovery Function Teams (RFTs), etc.
(e) Describe and discuss how these emergency plans are interfaced, integrated, and operate in tandem when activated.
(f) Describe and discuss how resilience preparedness can be maintained.
