Part A: Performance Psychology Workshop Slides (85 marks) [Slides limit: 15 content slides]
As a group, develop a performance psychology workshop for one of the following groups:
- Year 4 students presenting their capstone research at 3MT (Three-minute thesis) presentations
- SUSS Futsal Club having an exhibition match with another university
- SUSS K-Pop Dance Crew doing a performance for the public
- Full-time Psychology students going for interviews for their work attachments
Your workshop slides should be similar to that of doing a live presentation to one of the above groups. In the presentation, you have to (a) evaluate the relevant factors of peak performance, (b) introduce and appraise the importance of mental skills for peak performance, and (c) describe some evidence-based performance psychology strategies for your chosen group.
Prepare your workshop on PowerPoint slides. Please use a maximum of 15 content slides (excluding title slides and references) for your group presentation and submit it to the Canvas link. Note that anything beyond the 15 content slides will not be graded.
As a group, you will then be required to present your workshop, as a 10- to 12-min presentation, in the last seminar as part of your ECA.
For this GBA, you will be assessed based on:
Content (45 marks): Information presented in an easy to understand and effective manner that is well-organised with a logical flow.
Relevance (30 marks): Content is relevant and specific to the needs of the specific group.
Design (10 marks): Slides should not have too much text and should have effective slide design of appropriate fonts and colours. Animation and/or graphics used are appropriate and emphasise points rather than distract from the content. Please use royalty-free content or cite sources for your visuals.
Part B: GBA Declaration Form (10 marks)
Students must submit their completed GBA declaration forms individually.
List all the tasks that you completed for this GBA and provide honest ratings of yourself and every other member on your team, based solely on the work done for this GBA. The numbering of members stated on the list in (III) of the form should be identical for all members of the group, and should include yourself. For example, in this group below of five people, all members will list Anna as #1, Benjamin as #2, Suhaila as #3 and so on. Please use full names in this list.

Ensure that you follow the numbering of members in this list when giving your ratings in the table under part (IV). Marks are awarded based on the individual’s contribution and group feedback. To gain higher marks, there must be evidence of greater contribution, which will be reflected in the group feedback.
All information provided in this declaration form will be kept confidential, and mark allocation to each individual will be based on combined feedback from all group members. This is to ensure that marks are awarded fairly in every group.
Your ratings should reflect the professional competencies of your fellow group members and should not be used as a personal attack on others. If you encounter problems within the group, the group leader should raise this with your lecturer immediately so that disputes can be settled quickly and work on the assignment can progress. Do not wait until the submission or presentation day to air your grievances.
GBA declaration (10 marks)
10 marks: Student identified for exceptional contribution, confirmed by all teammates.
9 marks: Student identified for outstanding contribution, identified by at least two other teammates.
7-8 marks: No issues raised among group members, apparent in consistent individual ratings.
5-6 marks: Student identified for poor teamwork/contribution by at least two other teammates.
3-4 marks: Student identified for negligible teamwork/contribution by at least two other teammates.
1–2 marks: Student identified to have no teamwork/contribution by all other teammates.
0 marks: No submission of GBA declaration.
References (5 marks)
The References lists the full reference of all sources cited or referred to in your assignment. Intext citations also need to be presented accurately in APA format.
Note: Valid academic sources include peer-reviewed academic journal articles, academic books and book chapters. The iSmartGuide, student theses, and online websites, blog posts, or videos are NOT considered valid academic sources.

0 marks: Fails to meet the above requirements.
English competency (Deduct up to 5 marks)
No marks are allocated to English competency, but a penalty of up to 5 marks will apply for errors.
1–2 mark penalty: Minor errors present, such as typos and spelling or punctuation mistakes.
3–5 mark penalty: Major errors or a fair number of minor errors present, such as spelling or punctuation mistakes, or use of colloquial and/or non-academic writing style.
