Task 1
Provide an introduction to the report that clearly states the aim and structure of the report and summarises the key issues you have identified in the case scenario. If there is data contained in the case scenario comment on that – what is the data telling you about what the underlying organizational problems might be? This should help you focus on the recommendations section.
Task 2
Investigate the case scenario, analyzing the problems faced by the organization that the change process will have to address. Discuss the links between leadership, culture, power and politics, and their effect on the organization as it is described in the case study, also any external factors you think may be relevant. Here you will demonstrate your critical awareness of organisation theory taught on the module and your wider reading in these topics by your use of academic and professional literature to support your analysis.
Task 3
Discuss how a change programme might be designed and implemented that would solve the problems identified. Discuss the multi-dimensional nature of organizational change and the different types of change. Critically use appropriate theory to support your argument including change management theory covered in the module. Reflect on leadership and cultural issues, internal politics and employee engagement and organisational development.
Task 4 Produce a clear and justified conclusion which brings together the different strands of your argument and points towards the next section. Relates clearly and logically to the identified topic and to the preceding discussion with justification and discussion of limitations
Task 5
Make recommendations to lead and manage organisational change that will solve the organisation’s problems. Your recommendations should be specific and follow logically from your previous analysis and discussion.
