Individual Assignment (40%)

Your assignment pulls together all of the various concepts related to the analysis of programs or policies that you have examined to date this semester. You are to select a program/policy in your place of employment (or a program/policy in a place where you would like to work in the future.

You are then to build a Logic Model with respect to the selected program/policy to demonstrate how the selected program/policy works to solve an identified problem. I will look for evidence that you have kept up with the required reading and can think critically about the concepts discussed and can describe the relationships of the various aspects of the Logic Model.

In addition, your paper should go beyond the assigned readings and class discussions, incorporating a minimum of three other academic sources (that is, peer-reviewed journal articles or other texts). Do not use the first-person voice in this paper.

Guidelines

Length: 8–10 pages, double spaced (plus title page and reference page).

Your Paper Should Include:

1. Title page
2. Brief introductory paragraph that includes what will you be discussing in this paper, in what order, and why.
3. Discussion of the factors that influence the development of a Logic Model and the concepts that influence the contents of the Logic Model.
4. Conclusion recapping the key points of your analysis (do not include new ideas or information here).
5. References
