Managing people in organizations is an important part of all manager’s jobs whether they are line managers or Human Resource specialists. Organizations increasingly aim for all employees to be motivated, committed, and engaged, so an understanding of this subject is important to everyone.

The effective management of people will require you to develop critical insights into the factors that influence the behavior of people within an organization and be able to develop measures that contribute to organizational effectiveness.

1. Critically evaluate key environmental factors that influence the behavior of employees in the selected organization.
2. Based on your evaluation, critically appraise the suitability of the current organizational structure or culture or Human Resource practices of the selected organization.
3. Propose changes to the organization’s structure or culture or HR practices that would contribute to organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
