Your design must account for all the following factors:

(a) Mode of water supply (direct vs indirect).

(b) Details of water tanks to be used if applicable (number of tanks, size of tanks, location of tanks, tank materials and accessories).

(c) The valves to be installed.

Give full details of your selection, justifying your choices where appropriate, and giving full annotated diagrams where possible to properly demonstrate your answers.

You have been tasked with the design of the ACMV systems of a three-building industrial office complex. Describe, with proper justification, the type of ACMV system you would install for each of the following:

(a) The main twenty-storey office building with an average occupancy of 800 people.

(b) The separate six-room dormitory housing no more than six people at any one time.

(c) The two-person guard room which is situated far away from the other two buildings.
