Students who chose not to attend the CCB workshop in China will need to complete an individual case study as a workshop alternative assignment.
Students are required to
(1) familiarise with BOTH the two cases made available to them on the Blackboard;
(2) students then work independently on the case of “Uber vs. Didi”;
(3) This is an individual-based essay instead of a presentation and it will be assessed on an individual basis.
For the case titled “Uber vs. Didi”, the assignment questions for your essay are below:

2. What type of social capital did Uber’s Chinese management team draw on?
Analyses of the cases are in general ‘case-bounded’ except for Question 2.
