2.1 Lighting Efficiency
Encourage the use of energy-efficient lighting to minimize energy consumption from lighting usage while maintaining proper lighting levels based on the maximum lighting power density (LPD) stipulated in 2014
2.2 Lighting Zoning and Controls
Encourage the use of lighting control circuits to minimize energy usage. such as the provision of the following control strategies
a) Zoning of lighting for different usage/ locations b) Scheduling control to switch on and/or off the lighting with some localized override control where lighting is needed beyond the scheduled period
- Lighting on timer control/ connected to occupancy sensors
- Toggle switch for a light extension for different zones beyond the pre-set period
