EE4001/IM2001: Briefly Analyze and Discuss How Your Selected WebApp may Benefit from using Amazon Web Services (AWS): Software Engineering Assignment, NTU,, Singapore

Assignment Details:

Form a team of 2-3 members from the same tutorial group, or different group but taught by the same tutor. Select a WebApp (for online retail sales) you are familiar with.

1) Read :

• Chapter 1 Web-Based Systems (Pressman & Lowe: Web Engineering, McGraw Hill).
• Chapter 1 What is Amazon Web Services? (Michael Wittig & Andreas Wittig: AWS in Action, Manning Publications )
• Introduction to GitHub

2) Briefly analyze and discuss how your selected WebApp may benefit from using Amazon Web Services (AWS) especially on the two attributes: Availability, Immediacy, [ & network intensiveness, if 3-team members] from the developer point of view.

3) Briefly analyze and comment on how your selected WebApp may benefit from using Github on continuous evolution [ & immediacy, if 3-team members], for the WebApp project development.

4) Write the above report with bullet points, and include the links to your selected WebApp. The maximum length of the report is <= 5 pages (or 7pages, if 3-team members) exclude references.

5) You should clearly cite all the references and sources of information used in your report.
