Assignment Details:

You are required to design a mobile app of your choice. Select appropriate measures to determine the product requirements, create a conceptual model and provide a low fidelity prototype of your app. Using the prototype, collect potential end-users’ opinions and expectations about the product design.
There is no limit to the number of pages for your report as long as all the information presented is relevant and important. Make sure that you have proofread your report.

Your report should consist of the following sections:

Section 1: Product Requirements

(a) Illustrate techniques used for requirements analysis by describing the methods you will use to identify the product requirements for your mobile app.

(b) List the product requirements you collected for your mobile app.

(c) Illustrate TWO (2) different personas for your mobile app.

Section 2: Prototyping

Provide a low fidelity prototype of your app. Your prototype should illustrate how the user will conduct ONE (1) of the main tasks your app is designed to do.

Section 3: Evaluating the design

(a) Apply the cognitive walkthrough method to evaluate your prototype.

(i) Describe the procedure you will use to conduct the cognitive walkthrough.

(ii) Provide a feedback form with your documented findings from the cognitive
walkthrough.

(b) Design a survey with FIVE (5) questions to collect end users’ feedback about the design of your mobile app.

(c) Evaluate your design by selecting THREE (3) potential end-users to interact with your prototype and then complete the survey. Consolidate your results and display them appropriately (graphs, pie charts, tables, etc.).

(d) Using design principles, describe FIVE (5) features of your app that are designed to enhance user experience.
