GROUP-BASED ASSIGNMENT

This assignment is worth 20% of the final mark for LOG351 Lean Six Sigma for Supply Chains.

The cut-off date for this assignment is 3 October 2025, 2355hrs.

This is a group-based assignment. You should form a group of 4 members from your seminar group. Each group is required to: (1) upload one set of presentation slides via your respective seminar group site in Canvas; and (2) make an oral presentation. Please elect a group leader. The responsibility of the group leader is to upload the slides on behalf of the group.

It is important for each group member to contribute substantially to the final submitted work. All group members are equally responsible for the entire submitted assignment. If you feel that the work distribution is inequitable to either yourself or your group mates, please highlight this to your instructor as soon as possible. Your instructor will then investigate and decide on any action that needs to be taken. It is not necessary for all group members to be awarded the same mark.

Note to Students:

Presentation Slides (40%)

  • Compose your presentation to address the GBA questions using Microsoft PowerPoint and save as .pdf.
  • You are to include the following particulars in your submission: Course Code, Title of the GBA, SUSS PI No., Your Name, and Submission Date.
  • A maximum of 12 slides for each group, including title and end slides. The title slide should include the names of all group members.

Group Oral Presentation (30%)

  • The group oral presentation based on the submitted slides is to be conducted online. Each online session is 20 minutes; a maximum of 10 minutes for presentation and 10 minutes for individual Q&A. All group members must participate in the presentation.
  • Your instructor will decide when to schedule the online session at a convenient time for all group members. The online session is scheduled outside of the lesson hours.

Individual Q&A (30%)

  • After the group presentation, there will be a Q&A session directed to each group member. Please respond to the questions in a clear and well-reasoned manner.
