Select an organization out of following organizations from Beverage Industry in Sri Lanka of your choice and imagine that you are appointed as a Management Intern of this organization to support the management and learn as you work.

Carry out a desk research and prepare a report on organizational management practices to present to the organizational director board. The report should be a comprehensive one complying (3000 words) with relevant theories/concepts and related examples from selected organization whenever it is applicable. You may use secondary data related to the selected organization to complete the report. Your report must cover the below tasks.

Tasks

1. Identify different levels of managers and discuss the roles that they are performing to achieve organizational goals. Describe different skills that managers should have to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of organization .
2. “Classical Management perspective is supporting organizations to enhance their overall performances by enhancing employee leadership skills and individual productivity”. illustrate above statement by using scientific and administrative management perspectives with suitable examples .
3. Analyse the external environment of the organization and identify the threats which have recently faced by the organization. Provide recommendations to the organization to neutralize the recognized threats. It is required to use specific examples from selected organization.
4. “Organizations need one plan which is focusing the overall organization in order to reach their vision and mission.” State whether you agree or not with above statement. Justify your answer using examples of planning activities related to your organisation (15 Marks).
5.  Identify the departmentalization basis that the organization has used and justify the way that the selected basis and organizational structure has supported to achieve stated vision of the company within contemporary business context. Illustrate your answer with examples from the organization.
6. Evaluate the way that the organization can use different leadership theories to enhance organizational efficiency and explain the steps of controlling process that they can implement. You should use relevant examples from selected organization.
7. A Proper report by following the guidelines.
