International Dental Exhibition & Meeting (IDEM) is a leading dental exhibition and conference in the Asia Pacific as it provides companies and buyers a central meeting point to do business and explore new partnerships. The event will be held from 24-26 April 2020. IDEM will feature a comprehensive range of dental industry products and services from diverse dental distributors and manufacturers from all over the world. The event attracts over 8000 attendees and more than 500 exhibitors from 41 countries.

Project deliverables from students:

In the submission, students are required to work individually to prepare a proposal, assuming the role of the venue owner of either of the above-shortlisted venue and prepare the following:

Question 1. Justification to event organizer of IDEM, why your venue is the most suitable venue to hold the trade fair covering the following areas:
a) Brief description of its venue and facilities
b) Image perceptions of the venue and research of past similar events
c) Size, capacity, and capability
d) Parking and transportation
e) Participants needs
f) Proximity to accommodation and attractions

Question 2. Detailed layout plan with a write up for each of the following settings:
(i) A hands-on workshop for 30 attendees in herringbone seating;
(ii) A roundtable networking lunch cum award ceremony for up to 500 attendees
(iii) An exhibition area that can hold up to 100(3m*3m each) exhibition booths for exhibitors to showcase their latest products/services. Students are to research on the IDEM exhibition and can use their creativity to include other elements of the
