        a) Lesson Objective: Understand and follow one- to two-step verbal instructions (e.g. “Draw a picture and color it.”) (MOE, 2013, p18).
        b) Lesson Objective: Use a dictionary to find the meaning of new words.
      • Use the language developmental milestones (identified in Q1a) as a guide to creating a developmentally appropriate teaching plan. Your plan should reflect opportunities for language learning, practice, and assessment of the lesson objective and curriculum objective you have selected. You may also consider using the “Hook, Procedure (Instructions and Practice), Closure” table from Seminar 4.
