“Why is your topic a national health priority area, how is it being addressed and how can this be improved?” Research a Singaporean health priority area and present a proposal (either a new promotion or improvements to a current promotion) with supporting literature to allow Singaporeans to manage their health in relation to the condition. You need to justify why your topic is a health priority concern and explain the importance of increased/improved health promotion. • Define the health priority and state why it is a priority. Include information on what it is and whom it affects.

• In your priority areas, show evidence of credible and current research data (past 5 years) to illustrate that this is a valid focus area (aim for a minimum of 8 credible resources).

• Which specific target groups are impacted e.g. youth (12– 18 years), young adults (18–30 years) or seniors (60+)

• Illustrate the positioning of the priority within frameworks of wellbeing.

• How are fundamentals of health promotion addressing this area of concern? Discuss in relation to action and strategies of health promotion. Are there any gaps in current promotions?
