ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION

You are required to choose ONE of the following assignment options:

OPTION 1:

Public relations professionals play an important role in shaping a country’s image and reputation and promoting sustainable development.
Discuss the role of public relations in the process of nation-building. Substantiate your discussion with recent examples from your home country.

You will be expected to submit a reference list of the sources that you have consulted for the essay at the end of the respective class. Submit the reference list using the MyUnits assignment submission tool where indicated.

The  student’s name and ID number should be included as a header/footer on each page. All assignments should be A submitted as Word documents and no other format will be accepted.

A Murdoch University coversheet is not required for electronic submission; however, you are advised to include a title page at the front of your assignment that contains your identifying details and the assignment name.

HOW IT IS ASSESSED (summary)
Your essay will be assessed on these key criteria, which are equally weighted:

• Written expression and style,
•  Relevance to the essay question
• Analysis and evaluation,
•  Research and references and,
• Structure coherence, and organisation of the essay.

Your assessment outcome will be provided to you via a letter grade in the gradebook in MML and a feedback file containing written feedback and a table noting how your work was assessed against the key criteria.
