Assignment Brief:
Using the Health Belief Model, appraise and explain the behavior of Mark, a 19-year-old student who continues to smoke in the common areas of HDB estates, despite regulations that prohibit such behavior.
Additional notes:
-  Students are advised to read journal articles on youth smokers’ attitudes toward smoking cessation and limitations of regulations and public campaigns in limiting smoking in public areas.
- Students should have a good understanding of the Health Belief Model and its application to youth smokers’ attitudes, while also considering the limitations of public campaigns to limit smoking in public areas.
