The past few decades have experienced many global issues, but rising sea levels are the most terrible. The more the climate rises, the more the sea level grows and occupies the land. Few countries face the problem since most of their lands are below or above sea level. In the case of Singapore, the scenario is quite terrifying since the coastline of Singapore is only 5 meters above sea level. Singapore will lose its coastlines if the sea level rises 4-5 meters by 2100.

The policy chosen here is a particular part of Singapore’s Climate Policy. The policy includes Protection Against Sea Level Rise (PUB). The main problem with this policy is that it is a global problem, and Singapore alone needs to make more effort to reverse the change.

On the other hand, the reason for Global Warming lies in Mankind’s entire life. Business, lifestyle, transportation, food consumption, and everything contribute to global warming regularly. Singapore can take steps and put effort into the matter. However, if people and governments of different countries participate in this movement correctly, Singapore and many other countries will retain their coastline.
