Marou Faiseurs de Chocolat is a Vietnamese chocolate brand established in 2011 by Samuel Maruta and Vincent Mourou. The company specializes in single-origin chocolates, which are made entirely from cacao beans harvested on a single farm or region, and its factory is located in the Ho Chi Minh City suburbs. Besides their flagship stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Marou products are distributed at several restaurants, café, hotels, resorts, liquor stores, etc. in Hanoi, Da Nang, Da Lat, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Mission statement

Marou operates with the ‘bean-to-bar’ manifesto, which means Marou chocolate is made by the same manufacturer from the cacao beans processing until the chocolate bar is completed. They want to bring the core value inherent in a chocolate bar back, along with reorienting the taste and palate of the masses.
