Learning Outcomes

This assignment will provide an opportunity for students to:

The study, analyse and reason critically on the selected issue/topic.

Identify the effects of the project on individuals/ team members and develop an effective project team while working on the selected issue/ topic.

Demonstrate their understanding of the concepts and theories acquired from the module.

Read widely, including materials on the Internet, magazines, newspapers, journals and books to draw on relevant concepts and theories.

Group Project (size of 6 students)

Every year, there are many projects which failed e.g. exceeding budget and timeline.

Research on some of these projects and account for why these projects fail. Categorized the issues by sub-headers (e.g. Stakeholder management, Time Planning, Cost Budgeting) based on what you have learnt during lessons.

Next, demonstrate your understanding of topics of Evaluation/ control and Risk management. Recommend or propose solutions to prevent failures in managing projects.
