You are a YouTube film critic, and you regularly create video essays that examine the deeper cultural, social, and political issues explored in films. For your next video essay, you have decided to look at the Holocaust film The Zone of Interest (dir. Jonathan Glazer, 2024).

Write the text for a video essay on The Zone of Interest, in which you discuss the treatment of evil in the film. Be sure to identify and use specific evidence from the film to explain what the film says about evil. Also briefly discuss how the treatment of evil in the film can be linked to real-world issues.

Next, create a video essay to demonstrate what you have written, with relevant visuals and a voiceover. The video essay must have the following:

• Visuals: Use still images and/or film clips.
• Audio: Record your voiceover, in which you deliver the text you wrote. Where necessary, include the sound from the film clips.
• A list of the works cited: This includes the film The Zone of Interest and any other sources that you quote from or include in your video essay.
