• Describe the current operations/processes chosen for improvement. You can do a review of current operations in the company and choose those operations that may have potential improvement. It is good to discuss with your company supervisor on a suitable project that is related to Supply Chain Management.
• Analyze the operations/processes In this section, you could analyze the operations/processes using quantitative and/or qualitative methods. In your analysis, you can do some research on the industry best practice, utilize the tools and methodologies taught in this specialist diploma, etc.
• Propose the solution After the analysis, you would have one or more possible solutions, from which you could proceed to justify and determine the most viable and cost-effective solution. The solution can be a new process methodology, new equipment, IT OFFICIAL\ NON-SENSITIVE technology, a new strategy, etc. The stakeholders and/or resources required should also be stated.
• Implement the solution The project implementation plan should be included. After which, a review may be carried out to compare the current and new operations/processes against the objectives.
• Discuss the difficulties/challenges You can discuss the potential difficulties faced when implementing the solution, propose further improvements if any.
