For example, you could choose to focus on one of the following: A critical review of the impact of loneliness on older people living in England. A critical review of a recent policy or funding decision that will impact on older people.

A critical review of societal attitudes towards ageing and older people and the likely/ potential impact on older people Overall, your work should meet the module learning outcomes. To do so, you may wish to consider the following within your work:

An analysis of demographics of the identified population, including statistics about life expectancy, gender differences, retirement age, the prevalence of disability or health needs, socio-economic factors, and other relevant information. This could also acknowledge trends within the younger population to help understand patterns or risks as this population ages in future.

Discussion of the legislative and policy framework which is particularly applicable to older people. An examination of the evidence-base which underpins any strategies or interventions which are focused around ageing and older people.
