Scenario

You are working in an IT department of a Marketing Company, Global Design and it has 6 branches in Southeast Asia. It is estimated they have

• Management Staff – 60;
• Accountant / Auditor – 60;
• Human Resource – 60;
• Sales / Marketing Staff – 360;
• Electronic Designer – 800;
• Mechanical Designer – 400.

All the staffs travel frequently within all the branches in Southeast Asia. Often they have to show their design to their customer and sometimes, they need to do coding while they are traveling. Often staff complains about lack of technical support when the notebook failed (on average 10%).

Currently, the staff are provided Windows 10 OS runs the following applications

• Skype for Business (All)
• Symantec Endpoint Protection (All)
• AutoCAD (All except Accountant, HR, Electronic Designer)
• AutoDesk ObjectARX programming environment (All except Accountant, HR, Electronic Designer)
• Altium Designer (All except Accountant, HR, Mechanical Designer)
• Altium Nexus (All except Accountant, HR, Mechanical Designer)
• Altium DXP Platform (All except Accountant, HR, Mechanical Designer)
• Microsoft Visual Code (Designer Only)

• Item 9 to 13 requires a dedicated GPU as the design can be very complicated.

Your Manager is thinking of providing some Virtual Desktop to deal with the notebook failure issue. You are requested to write and present a proposal to your manager.

Task 1 Report

Write a report Microsoft Word with less than 30 pages with the following structure
