Congratulations, you have completed your client task requirements of working in a small team to prepare a project report and participate in a presentation.

To finalise your job requirements as a consultant, we ask that you reflect on your own intercultural effectiveness, apply the theories, concepts, and tools you have learnt from this course, and develop an action plan to demonstrate how you can professionally develop yourself and improve your intercultural effectiveness moving forward.

Please note this is an individual task, not a group task.

Intercultural Effectiveness Developmental Plan

In this task, we want you to prepare and present an individual reflective report that addresses the following key sections:

1. Identify one weakness in your intercultural interactionswhile working on the group project within your group in Assessments 1 and 2.
2. Analyse the weakness through self-reflection and interpretation using theories or concepts covered in the course(include academic literature to support your arguments).
3. Develop a detailed and actionable plan addressing your identified weaknessand how you intend to improve your inter-cultural effectiveness (include academic literature where relevant)
4. Include a minimum of 10 academic references.
   1. References: add an end-text reference list (does not add to word count). Include a minimum of 10 academic referencesfrom the course. References should be cited along the document to support your claims.
   2. Referencing: Correct use of RMIT Harvard to an external site. Referencing style.
   3. Academic writing: Correct use of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and the TEELparagraph
5. Total assignment word count: 1,500for the reflection

Section 1: Introduction

• Identify one weakness in your intercultural interactionswhile working on the group project within your group in Assessments 1 and 2.
• Provide background information and specific evidenceto demonstrate your weakness based on your experiences of interacting with people from different cultures.

Section 2: Reflection & Interpretation (analysing the weakness)

• Identify the cause of this weaknessand relate the weakness to the theories or concepts covered in this course.
• Ensure there is a fit between the theories or conceptsand the weakness you have chosen.
• Use academic literatureto support your arguments.
• Remember to demonstrate theory applicationin your reflection and interpretation.

Section 3: Action plan

• Based on the theories or concepts you have identified in Section two, develop a detailed, actionable planto overcome this identified weakness and improve your intercultural effectiveness at universities and in the workplace in the future.
• Your action plan should be related to the causes of the weaknessyou have identified.
