Essential Biotech is a biotechnology company founded by Dr. James Ooi eight years ago in Singapore. The company’s vision is to enhance people’s well-being through life science discoveries and it specializes in developing pharmaceutical products. James aspires EBT to be another Genentech, a famous American biotechnology firm.

James has built up EBT through recruiting dedicated staff and collaborating with industry partners and research institutions. It has a research laboratory and a small-scale manufacturing facility in Science Park. Recently, there has been an increasing number of projects and production demands.
