2. Pinpoint the “social fact?’  to which the social issue or phenomenon can be attributed and how these affect the behavior of people and cause the issue you are interested in.

3. Identify which type of research will be most applicable in analyzing the social issue which you chose considering the strengths and limitations of each type.
