Mary is a Senior Centre Manager at a Community Day Care Centre (CDCC). The Community Day Care Centre offers outpatient rehabilitation. Mary is in charge of the physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, allied health, and social workers. One of the main roles for Mary is to ensure the smooth operation of the center, establishing procedures and solving problems efficiently and effectively. Mary received a call from Ann, one of the physiotherapists. Ann called to inform that she is quarantined for 14 days due to COVID-19.

Mary has to delegate Ann’s cases to Sim, another physiotherapist. Sim is angry and frustrated with Mary as she has to take extra cases. The disagreement between Sim and Mary has caused high levels of stress and dissatisfaction among the staff.
