The National Arts Council wants help to organise a new arts festival for children and youth for June holidays 2025. They have some events in mind and this list includes:

• An exhibition of art works by pioneer artists of Singapore to educate children and youth
• An interactive performance by a local theatre company on the topic of bullying
• A concert by talented local young musicians
• A traditional dance performance by a local dance company (choose either Chinese, Eurasian, Indian or Malay traditional dance)
• A skateboarding showcase and display of artistic skateboards
• Educational workshops by local writers, performing artists or visual artists

Proposal Requirements

Proposal should address the following points:

• Explain what the arts event entails
• Identity a possible local venue for this event
• The features of the venue which make it ideal for this event
• The process of hiring the venue for the event
• The technical and front of house requirements

Format

• The essay must be typewritten and laid out in A4 portrait format
• Double line spacing
• An all round margin of 1 inch
• Left aligned
• Paginated top right
• Font Calibri, font size 11
• Word count on last page, excluding references
