Challenge B: a short story on future technology in education

1. Write a short story imagining a future scenario and how one or more of the modern computing technologies studied in the course have evolved to be applied within the field of education.

2. Some creative license is permitted for the idea of your featured technology, but it should make sense as a possible evolution from current technology.

3. You should also consider the social implications of technology being used in the way you have described. This can be positive or negative (or a mixture), as long as it is well thought-through.

4. You should include a short discussion with your story that explains the idea underlying your technology and the social implications you see going alongside it.

5. You may wish to cite references that support your ideas about the evolution of technology to support their plausibility.

6. Your submission should therefore consist of the following: your short story, imagining a future deployment of technology in education, and a short discussion explaining your idea and its possible social impact.

7. Marks will consider technical and social knowledge, looking at the plausibility of the tech as something that could emerge from the topics discussed in class and the likely repercussions of it, the creativity of your story, and the quality of the accompanying explanation.
