- Golden Mile Complex
Your petitions should:
- Reflect a sufficiently researched background on the chosen icon, with emphasis on its significance to Singapore’s urban landscape; (20 marks)
- Examine and contextualise the importance of conservation within both a localised and global urban climate, using relevant concepts and/or theories learnt in the course; and, (50 marks)
- Address the persisting urban problem of land scarcity in Singapore by suggesting alternative solutions to complete demolition for the purpose of redevelopment. (30 marks)
Your essay should flow as a coherent whole but you should ensure you address each of the three parts distinctly.
