For the purpose of this assignment, you are a newly appointed Health and Safety Manager for MultiTech, an IT organization employing 1000 staff. During a recent review of the organisation’s policies and procedures you have identified there is little or no protection for the 250 staff who regularly travel overseas. Staff travel to destinations worldwide to attend meetings and conferences.

Staff at this organization are diverse in age, gender, nationality, and travel experience. Travel is both long haul and short haul, with regular travel destinations including Nigeria, India, China, Russia, USA, Germany, France, and The Netherlands. You must write a report to Robert Jones, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at MultiTech to propose a company overseas travel policy.
