Despite the increasing uptake and adoption of AI in the Human Resources sector, there are still many arguments against the use of Al for HR functions.

• Critically analyze the use of AI and technology in recruitment. In doing so, students are expected to discuss two opportunities and two challenges of using Al and technology in the recruitment process. The total number of opportunities and challenges collectively to be discussed is four. Students are expected to demonstrate strong balanced arguments to justify how these opportunities and challenges present themselves to the organization or the employee.
• Provide two (2) recommendations on how HR professionals can effectively adopt the use of Al and technology in the recruitment process. In doing so, students are expected to provide strong arguments to justify their suggestions on how HR professionals can effectively adopt and use Al and technology when recruiting candidates for job vacancies.
