You are a security manager for a medium-sized company. Your supervisor, Mr. Vakil, Director of Operations, has asked you to provide a report on the annual update to the master security plan. The report should review stakeholder engagement, review of current measures in place (the security survey), and other key elements.

You are based in (choose one location): Singapore; Kuala Lumpur; Johor Bahru; or Jakarta. If you wish to choose another location, contact your instructor to have your option approved. Up to 10 marks will be awarded for the structure and organization of your report.

Your answer should be formatted as a professional report directed to Mr. Vakil and should include an introduction and conclusion. Appropriate presentation of your proposal and the use of academic conventions such as referencing and bibliography constitute part of the 10 mark award.

The report should include:

a) Appraise and explain the context in which you are working, current and emerging threats, and how they may impact the organization in general. Include your assessment of the risk level associated with each of the threats and how you determined this.

b) Describe for Mr. Vakil how you will carry out the security survey to review current measures at the facility.

c) Discuss your stakeholder engagement plan and identify who you will include and why they are important to the process.

d) Describe for Mr. Vakil the key elements you will include in the master plan and their importance.
