You started your career with Bank X as a strategic product analyst in the strategic products division (BFP module). Bank X has identified you to be a HIPO (High Potential) employee and decided to rotate you to a problematic business division (BAP module), reporting directly to the head of banking, Mr. Apathy.

Rejecting the rotation would threaten your future at Bank X, as such, you have no choice but to accept the new role. You have no fixed responsibilities and would need to do everything the head of the bank does not want to do.

On day 1 when you report to the new division, you saw a note on your desk from Mr. Apathy: “I’m away on sabbatical for the next couple of months and have limited access to my email. The CEO has left me an article on “Rebooting banking for the post-COVID-19 era”, but I do not know what he means and what he wants. I’ve left a copy of it on your desk (Appendix 1).
