For much of psychology’s history, personality was considered set in stone, at least beyond early adulthood. Research over the last few decades, however, has led to a consensus that while personality traits are relatively stable, they are not completely fixed. Instead, they continue to evolve through life and in response to major life events.

In other words, from a theoretical perspective, there is every possibility that at least some of us will have been left changed by the lockdown.

Apply theoretical concepts from the trait and biological perspectives in personality to a case study (see below) to examine how exactly the case study’s personality shifted during the COVID-19 pandemic months of 2020-21.

The subject of the case study is you yourself. Use the idiographic method to describe your initial presentation, personality changes over time, and eventual outcome, pairing this content with an in-depth investigation of theory and research studies relevant to the two required personality approaches to credibly support your observations and arguments.
