You are strongly encouraged to go on the virtual field trip to familiarise yourself with the exhibition set up by Thursday, 12 Nov 2020. Choose an industry sector (refer to Appendix 3) and work on the following tasks:

1. Identify the key stakeholders/players to stage a tradeshow that comprises of exhibition and conference as well as at least two business meetings. Provide specific examples, e.g. name of organisation and nature of the business, etc.
2. Explain how each stakeholder/player could contribute to the success of the event.
3. Describe the benefits each stakeholder/player could mutually gain from the event.
4. Describe what are some concurrent/associated events or activities that could increase the visitor experience and engagement in a hybrid model.
5. Describe current impacts MICE business has on Singapore’s economy including the tourism indicators.
6. Explain how the government intervenes to support the industry.
7. In your personal opinion, what would you do in such unprecedented times?
