In 2019, Guy, a social entrepreneur, leased a Soho unit at the top floor in the mansion block he owned in Meyer Road to Kim, an internationally acclaimed K-pop star, for five years. A few weeks later, the two of them met after Kim became annoyed by the number of fans who had been waiting for her at the main entrance of the block of flats.

They agreed that in the future Kim could park her vintage car in the underground garage at the mansion block; and that she could use Guy’s private lift at the rear of the mansion block to reach her flat. In return, Kim agreed that Guy could erect a sign on the roof of the Soho unit flat to advertise forthcoming events being held in his office theatre located in the ground floorof the mansion block.

In 2024, Guy renewed Kim’s lease for seven years before selling the block of flats to Corona. Corona now wants Kim to remove her vintage car from the garage and stop using the private lift. He also wants to be able to replace Guy’s rooftop advertising sign with another one, Wild Geese, a new musical that is opening next month in the ground floor theatre.
