Using data from the Singapore government’s data.gov.sg service, create a data-rich presentation to convince your audience that dengue hemorrhagic fever is a persistent problem in Singapore and what each of us should be doing to improve the situation for everyone living in Singapore.

(a) Create Python scripts to programmatically obtain data from data.gov.sg. Assess the structure of the datasets you’ve downloaded and design a suitable data structure within your MySQL database server to store the data. Construct suitable MySQL queries to reshape the data appropriately. You will be graded on the correctness, formatting, documentation, elegance, and efficiency of your MySQL and Python code.

(b) Assemble an appropriate data flow in Tableau Prep Builder to pull in the required tables from your MySQL database. Design effective visuals in Tableau Desktop and incorporate them in your presentation deck that tells a data-rich story to convince your audience that dengue hemorrhagic fever is a persistent problem in Singapore and what each of us should be doing to improve the situation for everyone living in Singapore. You will be graded on the appropriateness of your data flow and visuals in Tableau.
