Aim

The group project aims to provide students with an understanding of emerging topics in China’s capital markets. Students should be able to critically analyze and evaluate various aspects of a given topic. The research topics are presented in the Appendix.

The new tech board in Shanghai has many revolutionary differences from the current rules and regulations in the capital markets in China. Why did China launch the new tech board? What are the new rules and regulations of the new tech board? What are the implications to overseas markets such as Hong Kong’s and Singapore’s? There are a lot of questions to ask and research. You are also strongly encouraged to retrieve the data of all the firms which are already listed on the board and present a descriptive statistics.
