PART 1

The disruptive business model has been on the rise for new business opportunities and existing businesses to increase competitive advantage. The disruptive business model refers to creating new markets with totally different business models from previous ones. Some examples are Uber, Amazon Prime, Spotify, Airbnb, Netflix, etc.

Consider how a disruptive technology such as autonomous vehicles would impact a well-established company such as Comfort Delgro. Preliminary insights into autonomous vehicles can be found in the following articles:

How might autonomous vehicles and the VUCA environment impact the manpower needs of Comfort Delgro?

In order to advise Comfort Delgro, you need to do the following:

1. Propose changes to Comfort Delgro’s business goals that are required to address the challenges of the disruptive technology of autonomous vehicles.
2. Conduct a training needs analysis to determine the knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSA) necessary for realizing the business goals proposed in Part (1). Report on your findings.
3. Conduct a task (functional) analysis to determine the observable actions and tacit cognitive functions needed for proficiency in the identified job tasks. Report on your findings.
4. Conduct individual learning needs analysis to determine the employee’s performance gaps as compared against the findings of the task analysis. Report on your findings.
5. Based on the findings of the three levels of training needs analysis (in Parts 2,3,4 above) conducted, craft the learning outcomes for the training program of the disruptive business model of autonomous vehicles.

PART 2

1. Propose suitable WSQ and non-WSQ training for Comfort Delgro. Provide a rationale and purpose for the training based on a survey of the business environment and industry needs.
2. Review the training needs analysis conducted and state the learning outcomes proposed for the training program for Comfort Delgro. Explain how the training is aligned to the achievement of business goals.
3. Propose appropriate training and assessment methods for Comfort Delgro. Explain how the training methods are aligned to the intended learning outcomes and how the measurement of learning is valid and reliable
4. Delineate the resources required to implement the training program, include any other investments that may be necessary.
