Singapore plans to pump $19 billion into science and technology over the next five years that could “make Singapore a ‘go-to’ destination as a global innovation and entrepreneurship hub”. This will create a vibrantly diverse center for innovation and nurturing the kind of workforce skills and talent crucial to success in today’s integrated global economy. Open innovation may be critical in boosting the innovative capacity of Singapore.

The council of industry, innovation, and science have therefore asked you to prepare a report on open innovation best practices around the globe. Your report should draw upon theory and real-world examples of effective open innovation practices and should focus on one of the following:,)
