H3380C: Your supervisor Has Tasked you to Plan a New Convention cum Exhibition that Could help the Company: Meeting Convention and Event Management Report, RP, Singapore

BACKGROUND

Your supervisor has tasked you to plan a new convention cum exhibition that could help the company to expand its portfolio and ensure business continuity in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

You are required to develop a 2-day convention cum exhibition proposal in one of the following topics:

• Parenting in a Digital Age
• Using Social Media Marketing to Grow Your Business
• Wealth Management – Growing Digitally

It should be held in the 4^th quarter of 2022. The following are the requirements for the convention and exhibition segments.

Convention Segment

The convention will adopt a hybrid model. It hopes to attract up to 500 attendees, with 100 attendees onsite and the rest attending virtually.

Exhibition Segment

This will be a subset of the convention with not more than 10 exhibitors. The exhibition will be open to non-attendees as well.

The proposal should cover the following areas:

2. Convention program
3. Speaker selection and management
4. Convention marketing
5. Venue selection and space planning
6. Attendee management (specifical registration for convention)

Exhibition Segment
