Learning Outcomes

At the end of this module you should be able to:

• To reflect on and critically analyse information from various sources, particularly current research in Early Childhood
• To formulate the ability to understand, assess and use a variety of types of research methods
• To employ research skills in order to analyse and interpret data collected.
• To communicate in an appropriate academic style drawing on a wide range of sources, Including journal articles, which are referenced accurately using Harvard referencing system.

Task:

• A research project assignment (5000 words)
  Discussion to reflect on methodological issues and field work under the guidance of a tutor. Reflective reading shared with tutors and peers.
  Project – design shared with tutors and peers.
