Details of Task

Report on developing strategies to teach and learn with a child and family with diverse ability needs to age 0 to 8 years (Outcomes 1 and 2). This is both a formative and summative task since students explore the possible influences on the child’s development (Formative: Outcomes 1 and 2); and outline the ways they can use appropriate pedagogies and modifications to the environment to work with this child to build his or her strengths, therefore making summative judgments (Outcomes 3, 4, 5 and 6).

Use a range of relevant theoretical and pedagogical approaches to support your discussion drawing on relevant unit readings and other scholarly literature.
